I do this all the time when it comes to character names, except for when I roughly blur some words together to make a name. I find both methods fun in their own ways.

Not a fan of the official pronunciation I take it?

Though I guess having a player chose a name derived from the Okinawan word for sun (tiida) to contrast with the name of a character that hasn't been introduced yet (Yuna, Okinawan for night) wouldn't exactly be realistic.

That feel when you spend your whole D&D character using names such as Thiria Goldbreath (Dragon) or Therion Stonefist (dwarf)
